Sanrio has released seven new footwear items for its new Hello Kitty x Crocs collaboration. The collection ranges from $44.99 with the “Hello Kitty and Friends x Crocs Toddler Classic Clog” to the $99.99 “Hello Kitty x Crocs Adult Siren Heeled Clog.” The site also offers Jibbitz for fans to customize their clogs for an extra $19.99. Crocs Has Previously Collaborated With Anime Like Jujutsu Kaisen, Naruto & Demon Slayer
Crocs continues its long-standing collaboration with popular Japanese IP, releasing the Demon Slayer Crocs, last year’s Jujutsu Kaisen Crocs and the more recent Naruto Crocs. While the Hello Kitty version features nods to her character such as her ribbon, Naruto’s version referenced the Nine Tails’ Kurama, as well as ramen and kunai popularly seen in the series. Anime footwear continues its foray into the mainstream more generally, with Reebok putting a new Hunter x Hunter range and Puma’s One Piece collection going all-in with footwear, collectible shoeboxes and new Gear 5 commemorative art to celebrate.
