La funcionaria aseguró que se tratan de afirmaciones calumniosas y que emprenderá acciones judiciales.

En un breve comunicado, Sandra Ortiz, consejera para las Regiones, rechazó las vinculaciones que le hizo Sneyder Pinilla, ex subdirector de la UNGRD, con el escándalo de los carrotanques de La Guajira. El exfuncionario aseguró que Ortiz fue tanto una de las participes en la planeación del presunto acto de corrupción como la que le habría llevado el dinero al presidente del Senado, Iván Name, para garantizar el trámite de las reformas sociales.

En el comunicado, la consejera para las Regiones rechazó “enfáticamente” lo dicho por Pinilla y lo calificó de “afirmaciones calumniosas”. A esto agregó que presentará las debidas acciones judiciales para “proteger mi honra y buen nombre”.

De acuerdo con Ortiz, esto sería un intenta por “instrumentalizar judicial y políticamente” a la Fiscalía para intentar tener un principio de oportunidad. Para la funcionario, se está llevando a cabo un acto de “falsas delaciones” para desviar la atención de los implicados.

El objetivo, según la consejera, sería “obtener beneficios en su proceso penal, sin dejar de lado el interés de socavar el trabajo que se ha efectuado desde el Gobierno Nacional”. En ese sentido, esta concluyó: “Confío en el obrar transparente y objetivo de la justicia a favor de la verdad para esclarecer la situación, y estaré presta a colaborar en lo que se requiera”.

La vinculación de Sandra Ortiz

En la matriz de colaboración, Sneyder Pinilla incluyó a la consejera para las Regiones como supuesta participe en el entramado de corrupción. El exfuncionario aseguró que esta junto al ministro del Interior, Luis Fernando Velasco, dieron la orden de buscar recursos para garantizar el trámite de las reformas sociales.

Estos dineros se habrían obtenido con el sobrecosto de los carrotanques de La Guajira. Según Pinilla, luego habría sido la propia Sandra Ortiz la que se encargó de entregarle a Iván Name la cifra de 3.000 millones de pesos con el objetivo de facilitar el trámite de las reformas sociales que estaban tramitándose en el Congreso. Estas revelaciones de la matriz de colaboración fueron hechas por la Unidad Investigativa de EL TIEMPO.
