Samsung Life Insurance (Thailand) and Raks Thai Foundation donate  medical equipment helping people infected with COVID-19

Mr. Dalad Nutabandhu, Chief Marketing Officer of Samsung Life Insurance (Thailand) Public Company Limited, delivered medical equipment including 2,650 pairs of fingertip pulse oximeters and thermometers to Raks Thai Foundation’s Board Member, Asst. Prof. Dr. Kessara Thanyalakpark at 15th Floor Charn Issara Tower 2, Bangkok.

Samsung Life Insurance (Thailand), focusing on both commercial and social development through CSR projects, has partnered with Raks Thai Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to continuous social development, to launch a number of projects to aid society in long-term sustainability.

This time, Samsung Life Insurance (Thailand) teamed up with Raks Thai Foundation, to start a project to support medical equipment by providing fingertip pulse oximeters and thermometers to agencies or persons in charge of quarantining or assisting people who have been infected with COVID-19.

“Because one of the company’s ambitions is to contribute to society, when the COVID-19 pandemic attacked the country where we do business, we were alarmed. Thus, we allocated a budget and assisted in the project to determine how this aid could be truly delivered to the community,” said Mr. Dalad Nutabandhu.

“As a member of CARE International, one of Raks Thai Foundation’s core missions is to assist society in the event of disasters or crises,” said Asst. Prof. Dr. Kessara Thanyalakpark, Board Member of the Raks Thai Foundation (A member of CARE International). “Our organisation is working closely with the community and I would like to express my sincere thanks to Samsung Life Insurance (Thailand) for their invaluable cooperation in bringing this project to a successful conclusion.”
