Prince Harry set to break silence on his father King Charles' health in new tell-all interview

Prince Harry will finally open up about his father King Charles amid the pair’s broken relationship.

The Duke of Sussex has sat down for a tell-all interview with Good Morning America host Will Reeve. In the interview, which will air on Friday, Harry will speak about the King’s condition after the monarch was diagnosed with cancer.

He will also speak about his life with Meghan Markle and his passion for supporting wounded warriors. Meghan and Harry have been spending time with Will in Canada after they jetted out to Whistler to take part in the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025’s One Year to Go celebrations.

The interview announcement comes after Harry recently spent time in the UK to visit his father following the monarch’s cancer news. The Duke of Sussex rushed to the UK from Los Angeles and sat down for a half-an-hour chat with the King during his visit. It’s believed this was their first proper private conversation for 15 months.

Harry was not joined by his wife for the visit, as she decided to remain in Montecito, California, with their two children – Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. It’s not yet known what happened in the meeting between Harry and his father.

It’s been reported that Harry did not see his older brother Prince William during his brief return to the UK. A source previously told The Mirror there was “nothing in the diary” for them to meet, with William reportedly focusing completely on Princess Kate’s surgery recovery at the moment.

Harry then returned to Los Angeles, having spent just 25 hours in the UK. However, it looks like he could be about to return to London again in a matter of weeks.

Harry is tipped to travel back in May for the 10th birthday of the Invictus Games. Celebrations are due to take place at St Paul’s Cathedral.

The news comes soon after the UK government announced a multi-million-pound bid to see the games hosted in Birmingham in 2027. A source close to the project said a British-based Invictus Games would have the approval of both Harry and the rest of the Royal Family.

“Harry has indicated that he is comfortable coming back for a British-based Invictus Games and we understand that the Games have always had the support of the rest of the Royal Family,” they told The Express.
