Sabrina Carpenter and Caity Baser are Supporting BLACKPINK at BST Hyde Park

On 23 March, it was announced that Sabrina Carpenter and Caity Baser will be supporting BLACKPINK at their UK festival debut this summer. The K-pop four-piece are headlining 2023’s BST Hyde Park in London, with the supergroup taking to the stage on Sunday, 2 July, and the official Twitter account for the festival revealed the super cool support acts sharing the stage. As well as TikTok sensations Carpenter and Baser, BLACKPINK will also be joined by South Korean indie-rock band The Rose and English singer-songwriter Mae Stephens for one hell of an event.

Other BST Hyde Park shows throughout the summer will see fans immersing themselves in music from legends like Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Pink, and the E Street Band at the series of London shows. Performing at the shows is no mean feat. Previous years have seen the likes of Adele, The Rolling Stones, and Taylor Swift gracing the stage, so it’s a prestigioue gig – and BLACKPINK are certainly qualified to be joining the roster of music icons.

Tickets are on sale now, with various VIP options available for those wishing to elevate their experience. We have a feeling the girls are going to “Shut Down” London town with this show.

The festival follows BLACKPINK’s two-time sold-out shows at the O2 Arena in November and December 2022, so you’re going to need to be quick if you want to bag tickets for their BST Festival. Their recent tour saw members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa lighting up the stage with hit tracks like “How You Like That”, “Pretty Savage”, and “Kill This Love”.

Their latest album, “Born Pink”, went straight in at number 1 in the UK charts, making them the first K-pop girl band to reach the top spot. The South Korean group are following in the footsteps of fellow K-Pop band BTS, who have recently enlisted in compulsory military service until 2025, in bringing the genre to the masses.
