He was banned from social media for his controversial views during the Covid crisis.

And now Pete Evans, 53, is getting set to sell off his lavish ‘wellness’ retreat on the mid-north coast of NSW.

Located in rainforest at Byrrill Creek, 62km from Byron Bay, the 7.9hectare spread features ten bedrooms and eleven bathrooms.

The former reality star and his wife Nicola splashed out $1million on the property in 2020 and later ran workshops where clients paid $2,500 for ‘fasting retreats’ and ‘breathwork ceremonies’.

Advertised as a sanctuary featuring ‘barefoot luxury’, the listing does not offer a price guide.

Evans has assumed a low profile since he was dropped by 15 sponsors in the space of 48 hours in November 2020 after posting a neo-Nazi meme on social media.

Evans has faced a string of controversies over the past few years.

The once popular TV star has attracted scrutiny for speaking out against vaccine mandates and was fined $25,000 for spruiking a light machine which he claimed helped treat Covid symptoms.

In May 2020, it was announced that Pete had parted ways with Channel Seven after 10 years as a judge on My Kitchen Rules alongside Manu Feildel and guest judge Colin Fassnidge.

Free from the contractual constraints of mainstream network television, Evans began spouting beliefs about vaccines and the Covid-19 pandemic on social media.

In July, 2020, Evans sparked outrage when he falsely claimed that Covid-19 was a ‘f**king hoax’ and that the pandemic ‘doesn’t compare to what is happening in the world on a large scale’.
