AirPods Pro 2 could potentially present a newer set of additional functions on the soon-to-be-released flagship accessory, according to a report from 52audio on the information they said they received recently. This includes new systems that enable heart rate detection, enhanced user assistance measures, and a USB-C connector.
AirPods Pro 2 Might Still Look Similar to the AirPods Pro and AirPods 3
Despite having a similar appearance to the AirPods Pro, 52Audio noted that the AirPods Pro 2 will include many additional functions. Some of these rumors are ones we’ve heard previously, but the story from today provides a lot more specifics.
The site claims to have gotten fresh information on the AirPods Pro 2, and it has used that knowledge to create some renders of the earphones. In terms of design, there is still a stem, contrary to reports of a stemless style, and the AirPods Pro 2 looks similar to the AirPods Pro and AirPods 3.
What Are The AirPods Pro 2 Features Cited In The Report?
The revised H1 chip is anticipated to have improved SiP packaging and self-adaptive noise-canceling capabilities. Improved power usage is also expected to come along with its better performance.
It is expected that the AirPods Pro 2 will now support the Find My feature, making it possible to locate them using the Find My app. According to earlier rumors, the case will contain a speaker that will enable them to play a sound through the feature.
Health functionalities are also about to be improved. There have been previous reports that the AirPods Pro will have health sensors. According to 52Audio, these sensors will be able to measure heart rate from inside the ear. Moreover, the heart rate sensor may also be able to support temperature sensing.
According to reports, the AirPods Pro 2 will share the AirPods 3’s acoustics, including specialized high-amplitude drive units and high-dynamic-range amplifiers that work together to improve sound quality. There will be audio sharing, spatial audio with dynamic head tracking, and self-adaptive equalization as well. The lightning port may also be potentially replaced by a USB-C port in the upcoming AirPods Pro 2.
On accessibility, 52Audio shared that the AirPods Pro 2 may also be capable of functioning as a hearing aid. In order to improve the hearing of those who have auditory problems, sound can reportedly “be gathered through the charging case and transferred to the earphone for sound augmentation and playback.”
Most of these capabilities have been the subject of speculation before, but the hearing aid capability is brand-new. The design of the AirPods Pro 2 has also been the subject of conflicting speculations, although information about an AirPods 3 and AirPods Pro is becoming more certain. However, while 52Audio has shared accurate information in the past about the topic, it should still be taken with a grain of salt because the source has not been revealed and cannot be further reviewed.
