Rs 90 dividend per share: India’s leading stock exchange NSE last week declared its quarterly earnings for the fourth quarter of FY24 and announced a double delight for its shareholders. The National Stock Exchange of India announced a dividend and a bonus issue for its shareholders.

NSE Dividend 2024

In a big cheer for its shareholders, the leading stock exchange recommended a final dividend of 9000 per cent, which translates to Rs 90 per equity share of Re 1 each, fully paid up, for the financial year ended March 31, 2024. It will be paid to the eligible shareholders on or before 30th day from the date of Annual General Meeting.

NSE Bonus Issue 2024

Along with the final dividend, NSE also announced a bonus issue in the ratio of 4:1. This means that eligible shareholders will get 4 new equity shares of Re 1 each for every 1 existing fully paid-up equity share of Re 1.

Radhakishan Damani Stake in NSE

Worth mentioning here is that ace investor and DMart founder Radhakishan Damani also owns a significant stake in the stock exchange, meaning he will also receive a big payout from the NSE dividend for FY24. As of March 31, 2024, Damani owns 78,16,880 equity shares of the bourse.

With these many shares, the DMart founder’s dividend cheque will come out to be over Rs 70 crore. Moreover, the number of the NSE shares owned by the investor will multiply four times due to the 4:1 bonus issue.
