Royal family snub Prince Harry and Meghan's son Archie on his fifth birthday

Prince Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor is five years old today!

The eldest child of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who lives with his parents in Montecito, California, celebrated his fifth birthday on Monday.

However, the Royal Family back in the UK has not wished him a happy birthday, yet again, despite often sharing birthday tributes to other family members on social media.

The public snub comes after the Royal Family stopped sending birthday messages to the Sussexes on their official social media accounts, with the Mirror reporting that it was because the are no longer working royals.

Archie, who will likely start kindergarten this year now that he is five, stole the show during Meghan and Harry’s Netflix docuseries that was released in 2022.

The toddler, who has ginger curls just like his father, Prince Harry, appeared in sweet unseen pictures and footage as a baby and later as a toddler growing up in California.

One clip from the Netflix series shows little Archie playing on a tiny piano and in other footage from his sister Lilibet’s first birthday, the cheeky toddler is seen helping her to blow out the candles.

Harry shared in the documentary how California feels like home for his children now, saying: ‘Just seeing Archie run across the grass and this big smile… this is the world he knows. This is home to him and home to Lili.’

Archie is a big brother to his sister Lilibet Diana, who will soon turn three on June 4.
