‘Fighter’ box office collection day 2 early reports: The Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan starrer to cross Rs 50 crore in India

After hitting the theatres on January 25, Siddharth Anand’s ‘Fighter’ has been receiving positive reviews from the audience and the critics alike. The Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer also showed a significant jump in the box office collections on day 2.

According to Sacnilk.com, Fighter is estimated to have earned Rs 36.48 crore on its second day at the domestic box office. According to early estimates, Fighter witnessed a surge from its initial day’s earnings of Rs 22.5 crore, accumulating Rs 36.48 crore on Friday. This brings the total domestic collection for the film to Rs 58.98 crore within two days, indicating that Hrithik Roshan’s movie has comfortably crossed the Rs 50 crore milestone at the Indian box office.

The notable increase in collections can be attributed to two factors: the occurrence of a national holiday on Friday, marking the 70th Republic Day, and the film’s resonating patriotic theme.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film boasts a cast that includes Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi in significant roles. The movie showcases Hrithik Roshan portraying Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania, also known as Patty, while Deepika takes on the role of Squadron Leader Minal Rathore, aka Minni. Anil Kapoor plays the character of Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh, known as Rocky, as they unite in the fight for their country. Notably, this film marks the first-ever onscreen collaboration between Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone.
