Jalen Hurts’ TD run lifts Eagles over Bills in overtime
The Philadelphia Eagles bent in overtime and then they broke the hearts of the Buffalo Bills and Bills Mafia.
On Sunday in the rain at the Linc, Jalen Hurts scored on a run in overtime to give the NFC East leaders a 37-34 victory over the Bills.
Hurts’ scoring run came after the Bills had taken the lead on a Tyler Bass field goal in the extra session.
The Eagles got the ball and the chance to tie or win thanks to NFL overtime rules. If the team that gets the ball first does not score a touchdown, the opposition gets its chance.
Philly got it and made the most of it.
The winning drive covered 75 yards and took 9 plays.
