Hrithik Roshan’s high-octane action flick, “Fighter,” is gaining momentum as it enters its fourth weekend at the box office. The film witnessed a significant uptick in collections after a moderate start on Friday, with earnings of approximately Rs 85 lakh. However, Saturday saw a notable surge, with an estimated collection of Rs 1.65 crore.

Having made a formidable impact during the Independence Day weekend, ‘Fighter’ amassed Rs 146.5 crore in its opening week. Despite experiencing a decline in numbers subsequently, the film managed to secure Rs 41 crore in its second week and an additional Rs 14.2 crore in its third week.

With its total collection now estimated at Rs 204.2 crore, ‘Fighter’ is poised to cross the Rs 210 crore mark in the coming days. Boxoffice.com predicts another significant surge in collections on its fourth Sunday, with projections indicating a potential crossing of the Rs 3.5 crore nett mark.

‘Fighter’ benefits from minimal competition at the box office, bolstering its prospects for continued success.

While the movie continues its impressive run, it faces competition from the Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon romantic comedy, ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’, which also enjoyed a strong weekend, crossing the Rs 50 crore mark.

Both films are performing well at the ticket windows, with the new Hollywood releases ‘Bob Marley: One Love’ and ‘Madame Web’ failing to draw in the masses, owing to poor reviews and poor buzz around their release.
