Remaja meninggal selepas divaksin perlu disiasat terperinci: Ahmad Zahid

SHAH ALAM – Presiden UMNO, Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi meminta agar kes membabitkan seorang remaja perempuan berusia 14 tahun meninggal dunia selepas menerima dos pertama vaksin Covid-19 disiasat dengan lebih terperinci.

Bagaimanapun, Ahli Parlimen Bagan Datuk itu tidak menafikan kepentingan vaksinasi sebagai mekanisme membendung pandemik Covid-19, namun kes tersebut menimbulkan persoalan.

“Justeru, insiden ini tidak boleh sesekali dianggap sebagai terpencil dan memerlukan pencerahan yang sangat jelas kepada masyarakat umum.

“Keputusan ujian sampel tisu badan yang dijangka diperoleh antara 24 sehingga 28 Oktober ini juga perlu diteliti sehabis baik.

“Jika ada sebarang penemuan membimbangkan, mungkin wajar diwujudkan prosedur operasi standard (SOP) tambahan dalam proses vaksinasi ke atas golongan remaja,” katanya menerusi satu perkongsian di laman Facebooknya pada Ahad.

Sebelum ini, tular kenyataan Ahli Majlis Kerja Tertinggi (MKT) UMNO, Datuk Puad Zarkashi menerusi akaun Facebooknya yang mengatakan Allahyarham Noor Hayati Nabila Abdullah meninggal dunia beberapa hari selepas menerima suntikan dos pertama vaksin Covid-19.

Beliau turut meminta Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) mengeluarkan keputusan bedah siasat dengan telus dan segera.

Susulan itu, Pengarah Kesihatan Negeri Johor, Datuk Dr Aman Rabu tampil memberitahu, remaja tersebut didapati mempunyai ketumbuhan pada ovari serta masalah struktur jantung.

Perkara itu diketahui selepas pemeriksaan dijalankan terhadap Allahyarham Noor Hayati.

Mengulas lanjut, Ahmad Zahid turut meminta agar mempertimbangkan sama ada waris remaja perempuan yang meninggal dunia itu layak menerima bantuan khas kewangan kesan mudarat vaksin Covid-19.

Dalam pada itu, beliau turut menzahirkan ucapan takziah kepada waris keluarga Allahyarham dan mendoakan mereka tabah menghadapi ujian kehilangan ahli keluarga tersayang.

“Saya juga percaya seluruh rakyat Malaysia turut berasa sedih selepas mendapat tahu tentang kes tersebut dan mahukan kebenaran dirungkai,” ujarnya.
