france earthquake today: tremors in vosges, vesoul, haute-saône, belfort and alsace
Several social media users across France reported that they felt earthquake tremors on Saturday. Locals in Vosges, Vesoul, Haute-Saône, Belfort and Alsace – all French regions – posted about some shaking on X, platform formerly known as Twitter. United States Geological Survey has not confirmed an earthquake in France yet.
However, Volcano Discovery – a platform that tracks earthquakes – reported that the Haute-Saône department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of northeastern France was hit by a quake at around 11:14 PM GMT on Saturday.
EMSC, an ‘independent scientific organization and provider of real-time earthquake information’, confirmed that there was an earthquake in the Vesoul region.
