Windsor’s 311 system is perfect, as far as I’m concerned

In 2008 I was on my way to work and I hit a pothole. I called 311 and had to give my name and info. I had to give the exact location of the pothole, which lane, centre of the road or by the curb. On my way home I was amazed that the pothole was filled.

WOW! You can get something done in Windsor to make life better for all. After that when I see a pothole I email 311, and they send me a Service Request — and the pothole is filled.

I thought I would report a couch by the curb, which I’m sure no-one likes to look at, and in one week it was gone. Then I tried graffiti. Voila! Clean. Hedges over a sidewalk causing a mobility scooter to go on the grass — cut. There is no graffiti in Ward 2 now because if I see it I report it.

As far as I’m concerned, 311 is perfect and their staff is excellent. They help me and anyone willing to use it make my city a better place to live.
