He sees nearly 58 per cent potential upside from the current levels. The power sector stock has already delivered multibagger returns, rallying over 255 per cent, more than tripling investor’s money in just over an year.
As per the company’s official website, RattanIndia Power is one of India’s largest private power generation company, with installed capacity of 2,700 MW thermal power plants at Amravati and Nashik (1,350 MW at each location) in Maharashtra, India with investments of Rs 18,615 crores. The power plants are spread over an area of 2,400 acres. The company counts marquee funds like Goldman Sachs and VardePartners, USA as investors in the business.

Its shares on Thursday, May 9, were locked in at 4.6 per cent upper circuit at Rs 11.40 apiece on NSE. The stock has been hitting back-to-back upper circuits, rising over 20 per cent in the past four sessions.
It has a 52-week range of Rs 3.05 and Rs 12.30 on NSE. Currently, the power sector stock is trading above its 20-day, 50-day, 100-day and 200-day exponential moving averages (EMA).
