Rassie’s rejection pushes Dayimani to France

French rugby giants Racing 92 are on the verge of making their fourth signing for the upcoming season, with Stormers back-row star Hacjivah Dayimani set to complete a move to the Top 14 title challengers.

Dayimani’s Desire to Depart South Africa

Fissler Confidential recently revealed that the 26-year-old Dayimani expressed his wish to leave South Africa after being overlooked for the Springboks alignment camp in Cape Town, despite being contracted to the Stormers until the end of the 2024 season.

Springbok head coach Rassie Erasmus opted for Elrigh Louw and Mpilo Gumede over Dayimani, voicing concerns about his ability to win battles against other No.8’s.

“When we looked at his roadmap, and I am not talking specifically about him, I am talking about other loose forwards competing with other loose forwards and how many battles you get into and how many battles you win,” Erasmus stated.
