Rakyat tertekan nak ‘mentekedarah’ apa, menteri ramai tapi tak selesai masalah, kata Anwar
© Provided by Free Malaysia Today Anwar Ibrahim berkata kelewatan mengadakan mesyuarat itu disifatkan sebagai satu kecuaian dan salah keutamaan oleh kerajaan kerana semua langkah diambil langsung tidak berkesan.

KUALA LUMPUR: Jumlah menteri yang ramai masih belum mampu memberi tumpuan terhadap masalah dan beban sedang dihadapi rakyat, kata Ketua Pembangkang Anwar Ibrahim.

Beliau berkata, kerajaan dilihat tidak mengambil tindakan yang wajar dalam mencari penyelesaian untuk menangani pelbagai isu termasuk kenaikan harga barang.

“Menteri boleh sebut ada masalah banyak, kartel, monopoli. Selesaikanlah masalah kartel dan monopoli. Kenapa tak ambil tindakan?

“Kenapa tidak ada keupayaan, kekuatan, kesediaan untuk mengambil tindakan kalau benar disebut menteri mengenai kartel dan monopoli. Kartel ini memang masalah, dalam semua hal, politik dan juga ekonomi,” katanya di Dewan Rakyat.

Anwar turut menyelar kerajaan, selepas Dewan Rakyat diberitahu bahawa mesyuarat Majlis Tindakan Sara Hidup hanya akan bermesyuarat pada 9 Dis ini.

Beliau kesal kerana mesyuarat tersebut diadakan agak lewat, sedangkan keadaan sudah meruncing dan krisis kian serius.

Katanya, kelewatan mengadakan mesyuarat itu disifatkan sebagai satu kecuaian dan salah keutamaan oleh kerajaan kerana semua langkah diambil itu, langsung tidak berkesan.

“Jawatankuasa Kabinet belum bersidang, Majlis Tindakan Sara Hidup baru akan bersidang tetapi rakyat ketika ini, hendak ‘mentekedarah’ apa dalam keadaan tertekan begini,” katanya.

Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri (Ekonomi) Mustapa Mohamed, ketika menjawab soalan lisan dibangkitkan Anwar memaklumkan Perdana Menteri akan mempengerusikan mesyuarat berkenaan pada 9 Dis.

Mesyuarat tersebut akan membincangkan langkah-langkah yang menyeluruh untuk menangani isu kenaikan kos sara hidup yang dihadapi oleh rakyat.

Antara perkara akan dibincangkan adalah berkaitan pergantungan kepada import, kos kepada input makanan, isu buruh asing, skim subsidi, geran dan pinjaman mudah, pengangkutan dan logistik, teknologi pertanian dan R&D.
