Tokatta kaza, 10 Şubat akşamı kent merkezinde Vali Zekai Gümüşdiş Bulvarında meydana geldi. Berkay Polat, yönetimindeki motosikletle yakıt aldıktan sonra yaya geçidinden yolun karşısına geçerken, Eray Tezen yönetimindeki otomobil çarptı.

İhbarla kaza yerine polis ve sağlık ekipleri sevk edildi. Yaralılar, sağlıkçıların ilk müdahalesinin ardından Tokat Devlet Hastanesi ile Gaziosmanpaşa Üniversitesi Araştırma ve Uygulama Hastanesine kaldırıldı. Berkay Polat, tüm müdahaleye rağmen kurtarılamadı.

Tokat Devlet Hastanesinde yoğun bakımda tedavi gören Hasan Ertekin ise dün akşam doktorların tüm müdahalesine rağmen hayatını kaybetti.

Kazayla ilgili gözaltına alınan otomobil sürücüsü E.T., ise çıkarıldığı mahkemede adli kontrol şartıyla serbest bırakıldı.
