Trong quý đầu năm nay, các doanh nghiệp thành viên của Hiệp hội Thép Việt Nam (VSA) sản xuất tổng cộng 1,37 triệu tấn tôn mạ, tiêu thụ gần 1,25 triệu tấn.

Tập đoàn Hoa Sen (Mã: HSG) tiêu thụ xấp xỉ 443.300 tấn. Trong đó, thị trường xuất khẩu chiếm 70%, đạt 310.000 tấn; kế đến là miền Nam với 79.300 tấn. Thị phần của Hoa Sen tăng từ 33,4% năm 2020 lên 35,5% trong quý đầu năm nay, củng cố vị thế đầu ngành.

Riêng tháng 3 vừa qua, Hoa Sen bán ra hơn 214.000 tấn sản phẩm, ghi nhận doanh thu thuần 4.522 tỷ đồng và lợi nhuận sau thuế cao đột biến 501 tỷ. Lũy kế 6 tháng đầu niên độ (10/2020 – 3/2021), tập đoàn của Chủ tịch Lê Phước Vũ đạt doanh thu thuần 19.941 tỷ đồng, lãi sau thuế 1.406 tỷ đồng, tương đương lần lượt 60% và 94% kế hoạch cả niên độ.

Thép Nam Kim (Mã: NKG) bán ra 194.500 tấn tôn trong quý đầu năm, thị phần cải thiện từ 14,4% cả năm ngoái lên 15,6% ba tháng đầu 2021. Giống Hoa Sen, thị trường chủ lực của Nam Kim cũng là xuất khẩu với sản lượng lên tới gần 152.000 tấn, tương đương 78% tổng bán ra.

Tập đoàn Hòa Phát (Mã: HPG) cũng đang tăng tốc trong cuộc đua tôn mạ. Cả năm 2020, Hòa Phát tiêu thụ khoảng 100.000 tấn – tương đối khiêm tốn so với công suất nhà máy 400.000 tấn ở Hưng Yên.

Trong ba tháng đầu năm nay, Hòa Phát đã bán ra tới 73.700 tấn, cao gấp ba lần cùng kỳ và chiếm 5,9% thị phần toàn ngành. Tỷ trọng xuất khẩu đạt gần 45%, nhỏ hơn so với Hoa Sen và Nam Kim. Thị trường miền Bắc chiếm hơn 33%.

Riêng tháng 3 vừa qua, Hòa Phát bán ra 31.400 tấn tôn, cao gấp 4 lần tháng 3/2020. Trong đó lượng thành phẩm xuất khẩu đạt gần 14.000 tấn, gấp hai lần so với cùng kỳ.

Hòa Phát cho biết đã ký kết hợp đồng xuất khẩu đến hết tháng 7/2021, chủ yếu xuất đi các thị trường Châu Âu, Mỹ và Mexico. Cả năm nay, Hòa Phát đặt mục tiêu bán ra 330.000 tấn tôn. Sau ba tháng, tập đoàn của tỷ phú Trần Đình Long đã thực hiện 22,3% kế hoạch.
