A legendary All Blacks centre partnership started the final together, with the number 12 crossing for one of New Zealand’s three tries.
On the one wing, a powerhouse back needed one more try to break Bryan Habana and Jonah Lomu’s record tally in the tournament but came up short. He was nominated for World Rugby Player of the Year for his efforts.
