Qantas is investigating reports of a security breach this morning.
Daily Mail Australia understands customers’ names, flight details, and boarding passes appeared on the mobile apps of strangers.
In a statement, the airline said it was looking into it.
Many Qantas app users reported the app problem on social media and says it was allowing users to change strangers seats and transfer points.
‘The Qantas app has completely sh*t the bed. It is showing random people’s names. Random people’s boarding passes.
‘I can change their seats. I can transfer points. Full security breach of the entire system.
Another said: ‘I went to to the app today to have a look at all my trips and noticed I was logged on to some obscure frequent flyer account.
‘My trips were all there but the upcoming trips name, status and points displayed were all wrong. Every time I force shutdown the app there was a different person.
‘Makes me concerned that the same thing is happening to my account somewhere.’
