‘Pushpa’ actor Jagadeesh arrested in junior artiste’s suicide case
A case has been registered at Panjagutta police station against Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, who played the role of a supporting actor in Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa: The Rise’. Panjagutta police on Wednesday (December 6) arrested him for allegedly taking pictures of the junior artiste and threatening to post them on social media.

A woman (junior artiste) residing in Panjagutta area died by suicide on November 29. Upon investigation, the police found that she died due to harassment by Jagadeesh.
On November 27, when the woman was with Jagadeesh, he took pictures without her knowledge. After that, he threatened her, saying that he would post them on social media. The woman, who was deeply affected by the harassment, took the extreme step and died by suicide.
A case was registered at Panjagutta police station under charges of abetment to suicide. Jagadeesh, who was absconding ever since the case was registered, was arrested on Wednesday and sent to judicial remand.
It is not known if the shooting of ‘Pushpa 2’ will come to a halt because of his arrest.
