Redbridge Group Director Simon Welsh shares the results of their research, which reveals that Labor and Greens voters are more easily swayed than Liberal voters.
Half of Labor supporters are certain they will vote for the party, in contrast to two-thirds of Liberal supporters who are certain their votes will remain Liberal.
Political climate gives young voters permission to ‘vote Liberal and stay Liberal’
“I think the current economic climate really gives you almost a permission to vote Liberal and to stay Liberal,” Mr Redbridge told Sky News Australia.
Mr Redbridge said housing has become the “issue” for people under the age of 40.
“Probably six months ago, you talked to those voters about housing, and you sort of say, who’s responsible for housing?
“They would say that’s a part of the problem; it’s complicated.”
