On the Tavria front, the intensity of hostilities has been increasing in recent weeks. Over the past day, Russians conducted 1267 artillery bombardments, reports the commander of the Tavria operational-strategic group, Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, on Telegram.
According to his data, the total losses of Russian occupiers on the Tavria front over the past day amounted to 645 people. This is the highest figure since the beginning of the year.
“The intensity of hostilities is increasing. The number of artillery bombardments conducted by the enemy in our operational zone on February 12 is also the highest this year – 1267. The same applies to air strikes – 67 were recorded,” Tarnavskyi writes.
At the same time, Ukrainian forces destroyed or damaged 41 pieces of Russian military equipment, not including UAVs.
These include:
・5 tanks;
・17 armored fighting vehicles;
・8 artillery systems;
・10 vehicles;
・one piece of special equipment.
Ukrainian forces also eliminated an ammunition depot and another important enemy facility.
“280 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types were neutralized or destroyed. In addition, the combat drones Lancet and ZALA (1 each) were successfully destroyed in the Donetsk region,” the report said.
On the Avdiivka front, a dozen Russians were captured.
Frontline situation
As of Tuesday, February 13, Russia’s losses in the war in Ukraine amounted to 1,090 occupiers, with a total of 397,080 Russian military casualties since the invasion began. In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 30 drones, 27 armored vehicles, and 19 artillery systems.
According to the General Staff, Ukrainian troops repelled 35 enemy attacks in the Maryinka direction, held positions, and repelled assaults by occupation forces in the Kherson direction. Missile troops targeted 7 enemy personnel concentration areas.
In particular, as reported by the Institute for the Study of War, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have restored tactical positions approximately three kilometers east of Yampilivka (west of Kreminna). They also advanced southwest of Donetsk. Russian troops advanced east of the village of Terny.
