Four-star running back James Simon has scheduled spring visits to multiple SEC programs, according to On3’s Sam Spiegelman. The 5-foot-11, 190-pound running back is from Calvary Baptist Academy in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Simon will take unofficial visits to LSU on March 24 and Texas on April 19. He will also consider scheduling visits to Notre Dame, Alabama, and Texas A&M.
Simon is the No. 176 overall prospect and No. 11 running back in the class of 2025. He ranks as the No. 2 running back and No. 4 player in Louisiana, according to the On3 industry rankings.
He earned first-team All-State and All-District honors in 2023. He was also named the Offensive All-State MVP. Simon finished his junior season with 1,600 rushing yards and 21 rushing touchdowns.
