Prime Minister Rutte extra secured for serious criminals

Prime Minister Mark Rutte is being extra heavily protected. Drug criminals might want to kidnap or even kill him.

spotters

Suspicious types were seen watching him, so-called spotters, near Rutte. These are criminals who look at how best to tackle an attack or kidnapping, so that they can properly prepare for it.

According to journalists, the threat is taken very seriously. That is why Rutte is now more heavily protected than before.

Prime Minister Rutte himself did not say about the extra security guards. Normally he likes to go to work by bike, but that may no longer be possible.
