Prime Minister Erna Solberg embarks on Trøndelag election campaign tour

Norway’s Prime Minister Erna Solberg will launch election campaign activities in Trøndelag this week.

From Wednesday to Friday, Solberg will visit a number of cities and companies in both North and South Trøndelag.

The tour starts in Trondheim, where she will attend the opening of Olavsfestdagene, a church and cultural festival held around Olsok every year. After that, Solberg will visit SalMar on Frøya and the airport on Ørland.

On Thursday afternoon, Solberg and Minister of Justice and Emergency Management Monica Mæland (H) will discuss the police reform with police officers in Folkeparken in Verdal.

The trip ends in Trondheim on Friday, where Prime Minister Solberg will meet Labor Party (AP) leader Jonas Gahr Støre for a debate at the Western Front meeting in the Archbishop’s Palace, which is part of the Olavsfestdagene.
