Sydney Catholic school evacuated School received 'threatening email'
Dozens of students have been urgently evacuated after their school received a ‘threatening email’ as police scramble to find the mystery sender.
Children attending Our Lady of the Rosary in Fairfield, western Sydney, were evacuated to the nearby Patrician Brothers Fairfield College on Friday morning.
Principal Jackie Vella told parents the school had received a ‘threatening email’ but that their children were safe and being looked after.

‘This morning our school received a threatening email and as a result we have evacuated staff and students to Patrician Brothers Fairfield,’ she said.
‘This is just a precaution while police are on site and attend to the email.
‘There is no cause for alarm, your children are safe and being looked after. If you would like to pick them up you are welcome to do so from the Patrician Brothers’ College, however this is not necessary and there is no need to rush.’
Daily Mail Australia has contacted NSW Police and Sydney Catholic Schools in relation to the incident.
Our Lady of the Rosary is a primary school in Sydney’s western suburbs that caters to school students aged 5 to 12-years-old.
