Presidente de Uruguay Lacalle Pou desbancó al ecuatoriano Noboa en la lista de popularidad

El presidente de Uruguay, Luis Lacalle Pou, ha desbancado del primer lugar de los presidentes sudamericanos con mayor índice de aprobación al ecuatoriano Daniel Noboa, según la encuesta correspondiente al mes de abril de CB Consultora, una empresa especializada en el estudio del clima social y la proyección de escenarios electorales.

Precisamente ayer los ecuatorianos manifestaron en referéndum un amplio respaldo a las propuestas de Noboa de reforzar la lucha contra el crimen organizado, pero le dieron la espalda de manera amplia a sus reformas económicas para crear empleo mediante la legalización de contratos por horas y atraer inversiones al aceptar arbitrajes internacionales en cualquier jurisdicción.

Lacalle Pou, quien entregará la Presidencia de Uruguay al ganador de los comicios que se celebrarán el próximo 27 de octubre, el mes pasado tenía un índice de popularidad del 54,2 % y en abril ha subido hasta el 58 %, mientras que Noboa cayó del 62,5 % al 57,8 %.

El tercer lugar es para el paraguayo Santiago Peña, que saltó del 48,5 % al 52,9 %, mientras que el argentino Javier Milei, que el mes pasado ocupó la tercera posición, se sitúa en cuarto lugar, a pesar de crecer ligeramente, del 51,2 % al 52,6 %.

Este martes, Milei afronta una huelga de docentes, estudiantes y la comunidad universitaria en protesta contra el congelamiento de los presupuestos y los salarios y en defensa de la enseñanza pública, frente a los ajustes de su Gobierno.

En el extremo opuesto se mantienen el venezolano Nicolás Maduro -que baja del 45,4 % al 40,9 % de aprobación-, el boliviano Luis Arce -que desciende del 41,9 % al 40,5 %- y la peruana Dina Boluarte, quien sigue cayendo en el índice de popularidad, ya que en marzo estaba situada en el 28,9 % y este mes baja hasta el 25,3 %.

El chileno Gabriel Boric pasó del 47,3 % de marzo al 46,5 % en abril, y el brasileño Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva subió ligeramente, del 51,2 % al 52,6 %.

También el colombiano Gustavo Petro ha mejorado su posición en la lista, al pasar de 38,6 % al 41,1 %, a pesar de que este domingo, miles de colombianos salieron a las calles de las principales capitales en la mayor demostración de rechazo al presidente por la forma en la que está conduciendo el país, en especial el ámbito sanitario, y exigirle un cambio de rumbo.
