El Presidente Gabriel Boric, en su visita a la Región de O’Higgins, anunció la tarde de este miércoles que el gobierno recurrirá al Consejo de Defensa del Estado (CDE) por la colusión de empresas en el mercado del gas industrial y hospitalario.

Según dijo el Mandatario una pauta de entrega de viviendas en la comuna de San Vicente de Tagua Tagua, se pondrán los antecedentes a disposición para evaluar posibles acciones legales.

“Le he pedido a la Ministra de Salud, Ximena Aguilera, que ponga los antecedentes en conocimiento del Consejo de Defensa del Estado para evaluar las acciones legales, porque creemos que esto puede ser también un grave atentado a la salud pública y no lo vamos a permitir”, sostuvo.

El Jefe de Estado hizo referencia a la acusación presentada por la Fiscalía Nacional Económica (FNE) en contra Indura y Linde el pasado 23 de abril, y hecha pública por el Tribunal de Defensa de la Libre Competencia (TDLC) este lunes 6 de mayo

“Suena una cuestión bien rara, compleja, pero para que todos sepan, se coludieron, o sea, aumentaron artificialmente los precios del oxígeno durante la pandemia cuando los hospitales más lo necesitaban”, explicó.

Boric expresó que “eso indigna y no lo podemos aceptar”, porque la colusión de oxígeno compromete “no solamente el funcionamiento de los mercados o de algunas industrias, sino también tenemos la duda razonable de que pueda haber afectado seriamente la salud pública, al ser uno de los afectados el Hospital Félix Bulnes, que es uno de los más grandes de la Región Metropolitana”.

Y luego agregó que dicha situación “pudo haber comprometido la prestación de sus servicios en los momentos más complejos de la pandemia”.

Cuesta creer -dijo el Presidente- que en los momentos en donde más se necesitaba oxígeno, y en que tantas personas que perdieron la vida, “haya gente que pensó que podía hacer negocio de manera ilegal a costa de ellos”.
