They were the high-profile couple who called it quits only last month amid sinister rumours of ‘cheating’.
And now influencer Sam Guggenheimer has taken to TikTok to set the record straight that cheating played a part in her break-up with her AFL star ex-boyfriend Caleb Poulter.
An emotional Sam, 23, posted to her platform on Thursday in an attempt to kill off the trash talk.
‘I need to set records straight ’cause I’m sick of staying silent,’ she began.
‘Caleb and I had a very healthy and beautiful relationship. I have nothing but love for Caleb, and I hope that he’s doing well,’ she added.
Influencer Sam Guggenheimer has taken to TikTok to set the record straight surrounding cheating rumours with ex-boyfriend, AFL star Caleb Poulter
‘Caleb and I do not talk anymore, Caleb and I did not cheat on each other, you guys don’t know when Caleb and I broke up and there was no cheating involved,’ she continued.
Sam then addressed the accusation, which is going around the internet, that she caused the split because she tried to ‘control’ Caleb.
‘Caleb went out almost every second weekend when he wasn’t playing footy and I had no issue with it,’ she wrote.
‘I loved him going out with his friends I thought it was really important and I will stand by that and I’m pretty sure Caleb would back me.’
Elsewhere, Sam addressed chatter that she hooked up influencer Sopha Dopha’s ex.
‘I need to set records straight ’cause I’m sick of staying silent,’ she began. ‘Caleb and I had a very healthy and beautiful relationship. I have nothing but love for Caleb, and I hope that he’s doing well,’ she added. Both pictured
‘The second rumour is that I hooked up with my friend Jordan and this is honestly laughable at this point,’ she said.
‘Jordan and I were friends before I was friends with Soph. I have nothing but love and respect for Soph. I don’t think she’s a bad person.’
She also added that she was no longer friends with Dopha.
It comes after Sam and Caleb Poulter called time on their relationship after two and a half years of dating in January.
Sam confirmed the heartbreaking news in an episode of her Just For Girls podcast, revealing the relationship had ‘run its course’.
‘Caleb and I are no longer together. I had a beautiful relationship, and I will cherish our relationship for the rest of my life but things happen,’ she began.
‘Caleb and I do not talk anymore, Caleb and I did not cheat on each other, you guys don’t know when Caleb and I broke up and there was no cheating involved,’ she continued
The influencer was quick to dismiss rumours that someone had been wrong, stating they just grew apart naturally.
‘Nothing bad ever happened in our relationship. No one cheated. Setting that straight, no one did anything wrong. It just ran its course.’
Sam and the Western Bulldogs star began dating in May 2021, when he was playing for Collingwood.
