On October 15, at the 19th Ha Tinh Party Congress term 2020-2025, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ha Tinh city Party Committee Hoang Trung Dung was elected Secretary of the 19th provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Before being elected, Mr. Hoang Trung Dung held the positions of the Secretary of the Ha Tinh provincial Communist Youth Union, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ha Tinh city Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Ha Tinh provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Organization, Head of the provincial Party Committee’s Office, Secretary of the Ha Tinh city Party Committee, and Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee.

In April 2016, Mr. Hoang Trung Dung was designated Head of Ha Tinh province's Party Committee Commission for Propaganda and Training.

In March 2019, Mr. Hoang Trung Dung was elected Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee (term 2015-2020).

Also at the congress, Mr. Tran Tien Hung, Deputy Secretary of the 18th Ha Tinh Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, and Mr. Tran The Dung, member of the 18th Standing Board and Head of the provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Organization, were elected Deputy Secretaries of the 19th provincial Party Committee.
