Rebel Wilson claims British royal invited her to an orgy in controversial memoir

Rebel Wilson’s memoir Rebel Rising has already been caught up in controversy and she’s now claimed that a member of the British royal family invited her to an orgy in 2014.

The actress’ book was finally released in the UK this week after being held back amid the allegations she made about Sacha Baron Cohen, allegations he strongly denies. These have been redacted in the UK version of her memoir.

In one of the chapters, she claims that a royal asked her to come to a medieval-themed party at the home of a tech billionaire which was held at a ranch outside Los Angeles.

The Australian does not name the royal, but gives three hints as to their identity, writing that he is male, it happened in 2014 and he was ‘fifteenth or twentieth in line to the British throne’, according to the Daily Mail.

In her memoir, Rebel claims that she got ‘a last minute invite to a tech billionaire’s party’ from the royal who had told a male friend: ‘We need more girls.’

Rebel continues to say that she wore a ‘buxom damsel outfit complete with cone hat’ and that the event was ‘insane’ with acrobats and men jousting on horses.

Writing about the British royal, she recalls watching them ‘flounder’ around the party which went on to include a firework display before alleging that a tray of drugs was produced for the guests.

She claims that when she asked what they were for, a man told her they were for ‘the orgy’ and that this made the earlier comment about ‘needing more girls’ at the party make more sense.

She reportedly writes: ‘The guy who invited me, who’s like fifteenth or twentieth in line to the British throne, had said to my male friend, “We need more girls”.

Rebel is expected to start a promotional tour for her book in the UK on Wednesday, with the actress speaking in Edinburgh, Manchester, and London.

The book has already become a bestseller in the US, with Rebel saying last week: ‘OMG I’m already on the NYTimes Best Seller List! Wow! I can’t thank everyone enough for buying my book and to everyone who’s been writing to me saying how they can relate, how they laughed, how they were moved – I wrote it for you! I’m so glad you all are enjoying it!!’
