Ukrainian military repelled 14 enemy attacks on the Bahmut direction, held their positions, and repelled assaults by occupation forces on the Kherson direction. Aviation struck four enemy ammunition depots, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian shelling
During the past day, there were 82 combat clashes. Overall, the enemy conducted 13 missile strikes and 104 aerial attacks, as well as 169 shelling incidents with rocket artillery systems targeting our troops’ positions and civilian areas.
Unfortunately, there are casualties among the civilian population due to Russian terrorist attacks. Multistory and private houses, as well as critical infrastructure objects, have been damaged and destroyed.
Aerial strikes targeted:
・Stohnii, Chorne, Sadovod, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Kupiansk, Moskovka, and Zahryzove in the Kharkiv region.
・Makiivka, Serebrianske forestry, and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region.
・Novosadove, Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, Semenivka, Ocheretyne, Berdychi, Tonenke, Terny, Ivanivske, Orlivka, Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, and Staromykhailivka in the Donetsk region.
・Robotyne and Novodarivka in the Zaporizhia region.
Over 100 populated areas in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.
Frontline situation
In the Volyn and Polissya directions, the operational situation remains unchanged.
In theSiversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in border areas, conducts sabotage activities to prevent the transfer of our troops to threatened directions, and increases the density of mine-explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region.
In theKupiansk direction there was no enemy offensive action.
In the Lyman direction, our soldiers repelled 12 enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Terny, Yampolivka, and Torske in the Donetsk region and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, the Defense Forces repelled 14 enemy attacks near Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repelled 14 enemy attacks in the area of Lastochkyne in the Donetsk region.
In the Maryinka direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy near Heorhiivka, Pobeda and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where the invaders tried 23 times to break through the defense of our troops.
In the Novopavlivka direction, our defenders repelled two enemy attacks south of Prechystivka and west of Staromayorske in the Donetsk region.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy 13 times unsuccessfully attempted to attack the positions of our troops west of Verbove and Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.
In the Kherson direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold their positions and repel the assaults of the occupying forces. Despite significant losses, the enemy continues its attempts to dislodge our units from their positions. During the past day, the enemy launched 2 unsuccessful assaults.
At the same time, Ukrainian soldiers are actively engaging and inflicting losses on the occupying forces in terms of personnel and equipment, wearing down the enemy along the entire front line.
Enemy losses
During the past day, the Defense Forces aviation conducted strikes on 14 personnel concentration areas and 3 enemy anti-aircraft missile systems.
Rocket troops units targeted 1 personnel concentration area, 2 command posts, 4 artillery units, 4 ammunition depots, and 1 enemy electronic warfare station.
It is worth reminding that the total number of losses in the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion amounts to 401,350 military personnel.
