The “central problem” for Labor is not fulfilling their central promise prior to their election win of lowering the cost-of-living, Sky News host Paul Murray says.

‘Never forget’: Labor has not ‘fulfilled’ central cost-of-living election promise

“The central problem of this government, never fulfilling the central promise of itself as an opposition,” Mr Murray said.

“Never forget, this was the promise of the prime minister – everything is going up – the promise was that a Labor government will lower the cost-of-living.

“But we all know that didn’t happen last year, it is not happening this year.

“Everything is costing more than it did before you hired these people to run the country.”
