Rs 84,000 crore net worth: All you need to know about one of the richest women in Delhi

DELHI: Roshni Nadar Malhotra, a prominent figure in India’s corporate and philanthropic spheres, continues to make waves as the chairperson of HCL Technologies, marking her place as the first woman to lead a listed IT company in the country.

With a staggering net worth of Rs 84,330 crore rupees, the 42-year-old encompasses her roles as the trustee of the Shiv Nadar Foundation and as the founder and trustee of The Habitats Trust, a foundation dedicated to safeguarding India’s diverse habitats and their indigenous species.

Her net worth is predominantly derived from her leadership role at HCL Technologies, which has helped her to become among the top Indian billionaires. Educated at the Vasant Valley School in New Delhi, she earned a degree in Communication (Radio/TV/Film/Journalism) from Northwestern University, followed by an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.

She joined HCL in 2009 and steadily climbed the ranks. She joined the board in 2013 before assuming the mantle of leadership in 2020.

As the trustee of the Shiv Nadar Foundation, she plays a pivotal role in advancing educational opportunities for individuals across socio-economic strata, overseeing the establishment of some of India’s premier colleges and schools.
