Royal Caribbean Group has ordered its seventh Oasis Class ship, to be built by French shipbuilder Chantiers de l’Atlantique and expected to debut in 2028.
Royal Caribbean Group recently celebrated the maiden voyages of three new ships: Silversea’s Silver Nova, Celebrity Cruise Line’s Celebrity Ascent and Royal Caribbean’s Icon of the Seas, which sailed its maiden voyage in late January. The next Oasis Class ship to debut will be the Utopia of the Seas, coming this summer.
“While we eagerly anticipate the debut of Royal Caribbean’s Utopia of the Seas this summer, we’re already dreaming up her sister ship and the next installation in the brand’s extremely popular Oasis Class,” said Jason Liberty, president and CEO, Royal Caribbean Group. “Across our three brands, we are focused on continuously challenging ourselves to deliver the ultimate vacation experience.”
There is currently no information on the latest ship, which will make its maiden voyage in 2028. The Oasis Class offers Royal’s largest cruise ships, featuring the neighborhood concept, a split superstructure design, and multiple modes of entertainment, including on the air, ice, water and the stage.
As of February 15, Royal Caribbean opened its itineraries through 2025-26 for booking.
