Peter Andre reveals why wife Emily won't leave the country without their children – scuppering his anniversary plans

PETER Andre has revealed he won’t be able to whisk wife Emily away to celebrate their anniversary – because she won’t leave their kids.

The 48-year-old was hoping to go Santorini, where they had their honeymoon, to mark ten years together but Emily, 32, is concerned travel restrictions could change – leaving them stranded.

Explaining his predicament in his New magazine column, Pete said: “One thing about her I love, but that's also a little bit difficult, is that she won't go abroad with the kids.

“She's scared we might get stuck somewhere and not be able to get back to them.

“I get it, but I've always said we'd spend our 10-year anniversary in Santorini, out honeymoon spot, so we'll have to rethink that.”

Pete and Emily tied the knot in 2015 at Mamhead House in Exeter, but have been together for ten years in July of this year.

They have two children of their own, daughter Amelia, seven, and son Theo, four.

Emily is also stepmum to Pete’s children with ex Katie Price – Princess, 14, and Junior, 16.

The couple are stronger than ever and recently put on a united front Katie lashed out at Dr Emily – branding her “disgusting” as she made a series of shocking accusations about her.

Furious Katie, 43, wrote in the deleted post: “Emily you are not and never will be my kids' parent so mind your own business, your so two faced and definitely not the person you portray to the public.

“I think you're a disgusting person so stop trying to interfere in my life.”

Katie also falsely claimed: “So cringe she has used my children to make money in photo shoots yet covers her own children's faces up!”

And she insisted the NHS doctor had stopped her daughter from visiting her when she was in The Priory saying: “She is so jealous of my relationship I have with Princess and puts me down.”
