Who are some players to go out and try to add in your dynasty league or to get onto your draft boards in seasonal leagues for the 2024 Fantasy Football season?
Finding the best sleepers and under-the-radar players is one of the most fun aspects of fantasy football. When you hit on one of these players, particularly when you play in a league with several savvy managers, it can be quite rewarding. So the best way to do that is to get an early jump on the research process.
Looking at every team’s current 53-man rosters, there are a lot of questions, particularly with free agency still about a month away. But taking into account what we saw this past season and considering the direction each team is currently headed in, we can make some eductaed guesses.
Here are some players to start keeping tabs on or if you are in a dynasty league, some players you may want to float an offer for to see if you can get them on your team right now.

2024 Fantasy Football Sleepers: Running Back
Eric Gray, New York Giants: The Giants will likely try and bring Saquon Barkley back but he is a free agent and could be looking to play for a more competitive team. Matt Breida will also be an unrestricted free agent.
Eric Gray was used sparingly as a rookie but he came out of college as a fifth-round pick with a lot of promise. Depending on what the Giants do in free agency and/or the draft, Gray could easily be the team’s No. 2 RB next season.
Chris Rodriguez, Washington Commanders: Rodriguez looked good the stretch for Washington this past season and he averaged nearly five yards per carry as a rookie. He can be a pounder for the team and there is room for him to be much more of a force next season as Antonio Gibson is set to hit free agency.
Sean Tucker, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: This is really throwing a dart, but Tucker had some buzz during the preseason after going undrafted out of Syracuse. We didn’t see much out of him as a rookie, but with Chase Edmonds looking at free agency, he moves up the depth chart in Tampa.
Rachaad White is easily the Bucs’ bellcow runner, but Tucker could be a nice No. 2 option for them in 2024.

2024 Fantasy Football Sleepers: Wide Receiver
Khalil Shakir, Buffalo Bills: If you were already scouting for sleepers before the 2023 season ended, Shakir is a name that should have already been on your list. He was gaining steam down the stretch for the Bills and with Gabe Davis ready to become a free agent, he should move into the rotation for the Bills and have a chance to become an impact player next season.
Jason Brownlee, New York Jets: Brownlee had some moments in training camp and preseason for the Jets and when Aaron Rodgers returns for the team next season, someone other than Garrett Wilson needs to make plays in the passing game. Allen Lazard had a down season there and though he should be a lot better with Rodgers around, Brownlee offers some terrific upside.
Andrei Iosivas, Cincinnati Bengals: Another intriguing rookie this past season, Iosivas could step into a more prominent role in 2024 as the Bengals are about to see Tee Higgins, Tyler Boyd and Trenton Irwin all hit free agency.
The sixth-round pick out of Princeton caught 15 passes as a rookie but four of those went for touchdowns.
Cedric Tillman, Cleveland Browns: This is a situation similar to the one that the Jets have. The Browns have Amari Cooper, but they need another wide receiver to step up. Tillman showed some promise in preseason and looks like he could become a force in the league if given the chance.
Bo Melton, Green Bay Packers: Another deep dart throw, but even in the deepest of dynasty leagues, you could probably acquire Melton off of waivers right now. As stated here, I love Packers players moving forward and Melton had some big moments for the team late in the season.
Ronnie Bell, San Francisco 49ers: I’ve sung the praises of Ronnie Bell before. Many football fans scoff at the preseason, but dedicated fantasy players know how important it can be. Bell shined this preseason and solidified himself as a part of the 53-man roster despite being a seventh-round pick.
The 49ers have Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk, but Bell could become a terrific WR3 in that offense.

2024 Fantasy Football Sleepers: Tight End
Tucker Kraft, Green Bay Packers: Another part of that young Packers core, you might be able to make an argument that Kraft has more upside then fellow 2023 rookie tight end Luke Musgrave. Kraft had more receiving yards and touchdown catches on three less receptions that Musgrave this season.
Davis Allen, Los Angeles Rams: Tyler Higbee was not overly impressive for the Rams in 2023, catching 47 passes and scoring just two touchdowns. Allen, a fifth-round pick this past season, could easily start cutting into his reps after showing good potential in limited action as a rookie.
Cameron Latu, San Francisco 49ers: This is another long shot, but the reasons to support it are there. The 49ers have George Kittle, one of the best tight ends in football, but they did use a third-round pick to grab Latu in last year’s draft. In addition, Ross Dwelley and Charlie Woerner, Kittle’s primary backups, are both scheduled to be unrestricted free agents.
There is certainly a path to Latu becoming an integral part of the offense.
