Baltimore Ravens LB Patrick Queen (6) tackles Cincinnati Bengals RB Joe Mixon (28).
The NFL free agency firehose slowed to a steady drip on Tuesday, but there still were notable moves made around the league.
We recapped Monday’s fireworks by listing the biggest winners, and we’re giving Tuesday the same treatment. Spoiler alert: One player appears on both lists.
NFL Free Agency Day 2 Winners
RB Derrick Henry
Arguably the top running back on the open market, Derrick Henry reportedly agreed to a two-year, $16 million deal with the Baltimore Ravens. The contract carries a maximum value of $20 million.
Is that a ton of money? No, as other running backs, like Saquon Barkley, reportedly landed bigger contracts. But it’s a solid payday for a 30-year-old back who’s led the NFL in carries in four of the last five seasons. Henry is probably the only running back who could land that kind of contract despite having that much tread on the tires.
Henry also is a perfect fit for the Ravens, who prioritize making hard-nosed, physical football a part of their identity. Baltimore is always difficult to play against, and Henry makes the Ravens even more of a daunting matchup.
Who do you load up to stop: Henry or Lamar Jackson? Good luck, NFL defenses.
LB Patrick Queen
You could argue that Patrick Queen is a bit overrated, but don’t tell that to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Pittsburgh reportedly landed Queen on a three-year, $41 million deal.
Queen will join the Steelers following four successful seasons with the Ravens, including a Pro Bowl campaign in 2023. The 24-year-old got his money, and he’ll get a chance to stick it to his former team twice a season. Good stuff.
In 17 games last season, Queen racked up 133 tackles, 3.5 sacks, one interception, and one forced fumble. Like Henry, he’ll be a perfect fit with his new team.
QB Kirk Cousins
We still don’t know how the Atlanta Falcons can justify giving $100 million guaranteed to Kirk Cousins, but that’s their problem. Regardless, Cousins became even richer on Monday, and he received more good news on Tuesday.
Atlanta reportedly agreed to terms with former Chicago Bears receiver Darnell Mooney on a three-year, $39 million contract. Mooney will join an offense that already features receiver Drake London, tight end Kyle Pitts, and running back Bijan Robinson.

So, Cousins will join one of the more talented offenses in the NFC. You could argue that he’s now in a better position to go on a deep playoff run than he would’ve been if he stayed with the Minnesota Vikings.
Every move. Every team. Don’t miss a thing with PFN’s NFL Free Agency Tracker.
