The strike by our military on the gathering of Russians in Olenivka, Donetsk region, was a brilliantly executed operation, according to a representative of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Andrii Yusov.
As Yusov noted, this was not the first similar strike. In particular, he announced similar operations in the future.
“This is planned work of Ukrainian security and defense forces and effective use of available means. Intelligence on the ground, military intelligence works to identify enemy concentrations, personnel, and equipment. In this situation, a well-executed operation, operational information was promptly used – and a significant blow was dealt to the enemy,” explained Yusov.
Responding to the question of where intelligence obtains data on the concentration of Russians or planned deployments, Yusov stated that it’s a combined story. According to him, information is obtained from several sources to verify its accuracy.
Strike on the enemy in Olenivka
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ukrainian military successfully struck using multiple launch rocket systems at the gathering of Russian troops in Olenivka.
As a result of the operation, 19 terrorists were successfully eliminated, including the deputy commander of the unit. Additionally, 12 Russians were wounded, including the unit’s commander.
