PARLIMEN: 'Kurang interaksi buatkan murid tertekan jalani PdPR'

KUALA LUMPUR: Lebih separuh atau 51.2 peratus daripada 52,413 murid sekolah di negara ini, mengakui tertekan dengan kaedah Pengajaran dan Pembelajaran di Rumah (PdPR) sepanjang tempoh pandemik COVID-19.

Angka itu diperoleh Kementerian Pendidikan (KPM) menerusi kajian keberkesanan pelaksanaan PdPR secara dalam talian yang dilaksanakan antara Mac hingga Julai tahun lalu.

Menteri Kanan Pendidikan, Datuk Dr Radzi Jidin, berkata daripada dapatan itu, 48.9 peratus murid memberi alasan interaksi yang dengan guru sebagai punca tekanan, manakala 55 peratus responden berasa tertekan berikutan interaksi terhad dengan rakan.

“Sebanyak 53.4 peratus murid tertekan kerana kurang bimbingan dalam sesi pembelajaran manakala 34.1 peratus menyatakan hasil pembelajaran di rumah tidak seperti yang diperoleh di sekolah,” katanya dalam jawapan bertulis di Dewan Rakyat, di sini.

Beliau menjawab soalan Rubiah Wang (GPS-Kota Samarahan) yang meminta kerajaan menyatakan pencapaian sistem PdPR sepanjang tempoh pandemik COVID-19.

Selain 52,413 responden membabitkan murid, kajian turut disertai 13,156 pentadbir sekolah, 39,967 guru dan 59,624 ibu bapa atau penjaga.

Radzi berkata, kajian yang memfokuskan kepada PdPR ketika Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan (PKP) turut menunjukkan 49.7 peratus murid berasa seronok mengikuti PdPR.

Katanya, sebilangan murid menganggap PdPR sebagai pengalaman baharu dengan 56.6 peratus murid membabitkan diri secara aktif ketika sesi pembelajaran di rumah.

Katanya, sejumlah 57.5 peratus murid dapat menyiapkan tugasan atau latihan diberi guru dalam masa ditetapkan.

“Dapatan menunjukkan 36 peratus murid boleh belajar sendiri menggunakan bahan pembelajaran di rumah dalam tempoh PKP,” katanya.

Radzi berkata, sejumlah 66 peratus ibu bapa yang terbabit dalam kajian itu bersetuju PdPR berkesan untuk pembelajaran anak mereka manakala 38.5 peratus ibu bapa atau penjaga mengakui anak mereka seronok mengikuti pembelajaran ketika PKP.

Dalam kajian berasingan membabitkan 500 sekolah pada suku tahun ini membabitkan 1,053 pemerhatian, Radzi berkata, 98.7 peratus guru dapat mengelola isi pelajaran yang diajar mengikut peruntukan masa ditetapkan.

Katanya, hasil tinjauan mendapati murid memberi respon positif terhadap tugasan diberi guru dalam 97.5 peratus PdPR yang diperhatikan.

“Data pelaporan bermula 20 Januari hingga 30 Ogos lalu menunjukkan peratusan murid mengikuti PdPR meningkat, iaitu pertambahan 12.1 peratus bagi murid sekolah rendah daripada 87.1 peratus kepada 99.2 peratus.

“Pembabitan murid sekolah menengah meningkat 19.3 peratus daripada 78 peratus kepada 97.3 peratus,” katanya.

Beliau berkata, dapatan kajian menyimpulkan pelaksanaan PdPR berhadapan pelbagai cabaran dan kekangan pada peringkat awal tetapi intervensi KPM berjaya membantu murid mengikuti PdPR dengan lebih baik.
