The Infinix Note 40 Pro series has been launched in India and the price effectively starts from Rs 19,999. There are two models in the series with similar specs and minor differences, the Infinix Note 40 Pro and Pro+. Some of the key highlights of the devices are a MediaTek Dimensity 7020 SoC, 120Hz display, a 108-megapixel triple rear camera setup and more. These are also the cheapest phones in the country to offer support for wireless charging. Here is everything you need to know.

The new Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G comes with a starting price of Rs 21,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage. The Infinix Note 40 Pro+ is priced at Rs 24,999, which is for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage configuration. There is a flat Rs 2,000 discount on HDFC and SBI credit cards as well, which will effectively bring down the price to Rs 19,999. The devices are being sold in three colour options, Obsidian Black, Titan Gold, and Vintage Green.Â

The early bird sale for the new Infinix mid-range phones has already begun and interested buyers can get it via Flipkart. As part of the launch, the company is giving a MagKit worth Rs 4,999 for free to Infinix Note 40 Pro buyers. The MagKit includes a MagCase (magnetic case for wireless charging) and a MagPower charger (3020mAh power bank). The company has also announced a MagPad (15W wireless charger), which one will have to buy separately.Â

Infinix Note 40 Pro series: Specifications

Both Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G and Note 40 Pro 5G smartphones offer the same specs and the major difference is in the battery as well as charging part. They come with a big 6.78-inch FHD+ curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1300 nits peak brightness, and 2160Hz PWM Dimming. The panel even has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. They draw power from a MediaTek Dimensity 7020 6nm processor.

As for photography, the Infinix Note 40 Pro series packs a 108-megapixel primary camera with OIS, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth camera. For selfies, one will find a 32-megapixel camera on the front. Both the devices run on Android 14-based XOS 14 custom skin out of the box.

The Infinix Note 40 Pro+ has a 4,600mAh battery with 100W charging support. The more affordable version, the Infinix Note 40 Pro, offers a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging speed. Both the devices have support for 20W Wireless MagCharge support, making the new Infinix phones the first ones to offer wireless charging support under Rs 25,000. Additionally, the phones also have an in-display fingerprint sensor, IR sensor, stereo speakers tuned by JBL, IP53 rating, and more.
