The premium car manufacturer Mercedes Benz showcased a futuristic AMG GT6 in Concept avatar in Mumbai. The coupe-style vehicle has been unveiled at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre, paying homage to the company’s most loved racing car 300 SL.
As per the details shared by the brand, the visionary concept will not move until May 2024, which means it will be available for viewers and enthusiasts at the venue.
Mercedes-AMG GT6 Concept First Appearance
For those who are unaware, the Mercedes-AMG GT6 made its first official appearance in 2013. Later, it was displayed at multiple events, and even it was featured in the popular Gran Turismo 6 racing game.
Design
Talking about the design, the newly unveiled visionary concept car flaunts a massive hood, featuring a stylish fastback roof with radiator-style front grille with giant-size company’s badging. To give it a proper futuristic appeal, it also features a low-slung body, and turbine-like center-locking wheels with a sweet touch of chrome all over the body and gullwing doors.
Engine
Under the hood, the concept is powered by a 5.5-litre V8 engine, which generates a max power of 577 BHP and 800 Nm.
Meanwhile, this is not the first time the company used the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre to show such a visionary product. Earlier, the same venue was used to display the 6-electric concept cars under the Mercedes-Maybach umbrella.
