Jim Chalmers ‘could sell ice to eskimos’

Treasurer Jim Chalmers could “sell ice to eskimos”, according to former Labor minister Graham Richardson.

Mr Richardson’s remarks come amid the Labor government’s recent stage three tax cut changes.

“He is one of those guys who could sell ice to eskimos,” Mr Richardson told Sky News Australia.

“This guy’s very, very good.

“And also, I think you can’t be a good salesman unless you have a knowledge of the product … he’s got phenomenal knowledge of the economy.”
