A new OnePlus phone has made an appearance on the Geekbench listing and this is believed to be the OnePlus Nord 4 smartphone. The company recently took the wraps off its Nord CE 4 device in India and it was recently rumoured to announce the original Nord 4 device in the second half of the year. While the launch timeline is yet to be revealed, it could be anytime after June if we go by the leaks. Here is everything we know about the next OnePlus phone.
The OnePlus Nord 4 has made an appearance on Geekbench with the model number CPH2621. It is listed with an octa-core Qualcomm chipset codenamed pineapple. Tipster Yogesh Brar claims that this mid-range smartphone will pack a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset under the hood, which is also powering the Chinese model, OnePlus Nord Ace 3V. This device is rumoured to come to global markets as Nord 4. But, nothing is confirmed yet. So, it is better to take the details with a pinch of salt.
On Geekbench, the OnePlus Nord 4 has scored 1,875 points in the single-core test and 4,934 points in the multi-core test. It is running on the latest Android 14 OS out of the box. The handset has also been spotted on the Camera FV 5 database, claiming that the upcoming OnePlus phone will offer a primary camera with OIS, an f/1.9 aperture, and a 26.4mm focal length. The exact details about all the sensors are unknown. The Eurofins certification website also has the same model with a 5,500mAh battery unit. It has support for 80W wired fast charging support.Â
OnePlus Ace 3V: Specs, features
The latest leak hints that the OnePlus Nord 4 might be a rebranded version of the China-exclusive OnePlus Ace 3V device, as suggested by previous leaks. The Chinese model features a 6.74 OLED flat display with a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 1,100nits of HBM, and 2160Hz PWM dimming. It comes with an IP65 rating for dust and splash resistance. The OnePlus Ace 3V is powered by a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC, backed by up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. The new OnePlus phone runs on Android 14 OS.Â
The device will get four years of major Android OS upgrades and five years of security patches. You will also see dual gaming antennas, and an infrared remote control feature that will let you control your TV using your mobile phone.
The device has a dual rear camera setup. This includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary rear sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and ProXDR support. It is accompanied by an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 camera. On the front is a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The handset has dual stereo speakers as well.
Under the hood, there is a 5,500mAh battery unit that is also available inside the OnePlus 12R smartphone. The company has given support for 100W fast charging tech and it also bundles a charger in the retail box.Â
