The OnePlus 12 has finally launched after months of rumours and leaks. The flagship phone has been announced in China and the successor to the OnePlus 11 is all set to arrive in global markets like India in 2024. The new version comes with big upgrades, which are likely to please a lot of people. OnePlus 12: Specifications, features
The flagship OnePlus 12 phone features a 6.82-inch QHD+ 2K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This one has an LTPO display, and it has support for 1Hz to 120Hz refresh rate. This will automatically get adjusted based on the content on the screen. The screen even has support for a peak brightness of 4,500nits, making it othe brightest display in the industry. Additionally, the panel also has support for Dolby Vision, 10Bit Color Depth, ProXDR, 2160Hz PWM dimming. The company has retained the design of the OnePlus 11 and introduced the new phone in different colours.
The OnePlus 12 is powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. It is backed by the latest LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage solutions for better speeds. The company also revealed that its new OnePlus 12 smartphone has a Dual Cryo-velocity Cooling system that “improves in cooling surface area, cooling material, and structure design” for a better gaming experience.
For photography, there is a triple camera system. This includes a 50-megapixel LYT808 Sony sensor, a 64-megapixel OV64B sensor with 3x periscope telephoto camera. In addition to this, there is also a third camera – a 48-megapixel IMX581 ultra-wide camera. The camera setup is the same as the OnePlus Open smartphone.
OnePlus 12: Prices revealed
The newly launched OnePlus 12 has been announced in China with at a starting price of CNY 4,299 (around Rs 50,700). Of course, the same won’t be the price in the Indian market. The OnePlus 12 is expected to cost more than Rs 60,000 in India because the OnePlus 11 was made available at Rs 56,999. The company will likely increase the price of the new model because of the top-notch features that the OnePlus 12 ships with.
The OnePlus 12 will be available for purchase in China on December 11, 2023.

The company has confirmed the global availability of the new OnePlus flagship phone.
