From Wednesday September 22 to Friday September 24, I and my colleagues are ready to talk to residents, employees of (government) agencies and administrators. During this provincial tour we would like to hear from you about what is going on in Flevoland between the inhabitants and the government. Where is it going wrong? And what’s going well? We are happy to help you on your way and that is why you are very welcome to visit us.
From our pop-up kitchen we tell you what we can do for you. You can also meet the National Ombudsman Reinier van Zutphen here. Feel free to join us at the kitchen table in Emmeloord, Urk, Swifterbant, Dronten, Lelystad, Zeewolde or Biddinghuizen. Here you can ask questions about the ombudsman’s work, ask a question or submit a problem with the government to us. Check here at which times and locations you can find us: www.nationaleombudsman.nl/flevoland.
The National Ombudsman is available for anyone who has a problem with a government agency and cannot resolve it together. For example, are you self-employed and do you need help from the municipality?
Or is there something wrong between you and the UWV, the Tax Authorities or the police? We will be happy to help you. But even if you don’t really know where to go with your question about the government: we will gladly refer you to the agency that can help you further.
In addition to our presence in the pop-up kitchen, we visit various (government) agencies every day that have a lot of contact with residents of Flevoland. Their employees are therefore well able to tell what is going on in the province. For example, we will visit ZamenEen: a collaboration between citizens, entrepreneurs and (local) government in Dronten in which the approach to loneliness is central.
And at The Question House, where volunteers and professionals work together under one roof to help residents of Zeewolde as much as possible in one go (on their way). As a Veterans Ombudsman, I also visit the Veterans Foundation Lelystad.
My colleagues and I are looking forward to meeting you in Flevoland! Are you unable to visit us and do you have a problem with a government agency? And you can’t work it out with them? Then you can also call us free of charge on 0800 – 33 55 555. Or, for example, visit the site www.nationaleombudsman.nl.
