TCU defensive tackle Damonic Williams is expected to enter the NCAA transfer portal, according to Chris Hummer of 247Sports. The 6-foot-2, 320-pound defensive tackle has two seasons of eligibility remaining.
Williams earned Freshman All-American honors after starting 15 games as a true freshman. He helped lead the Horned Frogs to the CFP National Championship game against Georgia. He finished his freshman season with 27 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, and one forced fumble.
Last season, Williams was an All-Big 12 honorable mention after recording 33 total tackles, five tackles for loss, and three sacks. He has started 27 consecutive games to start his collegiate career.
Williams signed with TCU as a three-star prospect out of Misson Hills, California. He was the No. 616 overall prospect and No. 71 defensive lineman in the class of 2022.
He was named an honorable mention for the Big-12 Defensive Freshman of the Year and was an honorable mention for the Big-12 Defensive Lineman of the Year in 2023.
